    • Others may have severe disabilities and need lifelong care and support.

    • Needs and abilities can change over time.

  • Co-existing Conditions:

    • Epilepsy

    • Depression

    • Anxiety

    • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

    • Sleep difficulties

    • Self-injury

  • Vaccine Misconception:

    • False belief: Vaccines cause Autism.

    • Truth: No scientific evidence supports this.

    • Autism is believed to be caused by multiple factors, including:

      • Environmental factors

    • “Celebrate Differences”

      • Recognizes and embraces the unique qualities of autistic individuals.

      • Promotes inclusivity in communities worldwide.

  • How to Show Support:

    • Wear blue on April 2nd (blue is the colour associated with Autism).

    • Participate in or support community events.

    • Celebrate the talents and skills of people with Autism.
